IronTrac (“IronTrac,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use the IronTrac website, mobile application, platform, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Who We Are
IronTrac is a product and brand of Entraca LLC. In some cases, IronTrac acts as a service provider or processor on behalf of business customers that use the platform.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information.
Information You Provide Directly
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide through contact forms, consultation requests, quote requests, or other communications, including:
- name
- company name
- job title
- email address
- phone number
- mailing or billing address
- account credentials
- support communications
- information submitted through forms, demos, onboarding, and customer support
- content you upload or submit through the Services, such as records, notes, images, documents, readings, measurements, and operational information

- app version
- log data
- crash or diagnostic data

- mobile device identifiers or push notification tokens, where applicable

- information transmitted from supported connected devices or peripherals used with IronTrac

- GPS or location information captured through the app independently of Bluetooth-connected devices
Text message and phone communications
If you provide your phone number to us, we may collect and use:

- text message content
- call-related communications information
- delivery information
- response history
- communication logs
- related metadata needed to send, receive, and manage business communications
3. Mobile App, Firebase Crashlytics, and Device Permissions
The IronTrac mobile app may request access to certain device features or permissions, depending on the functionality used and your device platform.
These may include:
- Bluetooth / Nearby Devices to discover, pair with, connect to, or exchange information with supported external devices and peripherals
- Location / GPS to support location-aware workflows, field activity records, mapping, audit trails, and other features that use device location independently of Bluetooth-connected hardware
- Camera to take photos, scan codes, or capture images for records or workflows
- Photos / Files to upload, attach, or store images and documents
- Notifications to send alerts, reminders, or operational updates
- Diagnostics and log information to maintain app performance, security, and troubleshooting
The app also uses Firebase Crashlytics to help us monitor app stability, investigate crashes, diagnose errors, and improve reliability.
You can generally manage app permissions through your device settings, though disabling permissions may limit or disable certain features.
4. How We Use Information
We may use personal information and related operational information to:
- provide, operate, authenticate, maintain, and improve the Services
- create and manage accounts
- support mobile-app functionality and connected-device communication
- discover, connect to, and exchange data with supported Bluetooth or nearby devices
- receive, process, display, and store device connectivity data, readings, measurements, and related operational records
- collect and use GPS or other location information to support field activity, mapping, location-aware workflows, records, and audit history
- process uploaded files, images, device readings, inspection records, and operational activity
- respond to requests, demos, onboarding, and support issues
- send service communications, alerts, and product notices
- communicate by phone and SMS regarding customer service, support, scheduling, account matters, operational updates, service notifications, and other non-marketing business communications
- monitor performance, detect crashes and errors, troubleshoot issues, prevent fraud, and improve reliability
- comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements
We do not use SMS for marketing campaigns or promotional text messaging.
5. Communications Providers and SMS
We may use third-party communications providers, including Twilio and Zoom Phone, to place calls and send or receive SMS or similar business communications. These providers may process phone numbers, message content, delivery status, response data, and related messaging or call metadata on our behalf in order to provide communications functionality. Twilio provides business messaging services, and Zoom Phone supports calling and SMS capabilities.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
You may opt out of non-essential text messages by replying STOP where supported, or by contacting us directly. Opting out may limit our ability to provide certain updates by text.
6. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- hosting, infrastructure, authentication, analytics, diagnostics, support, communications, and cloud-service providers
- service providers that help us operate the website, mobile app, and platform, including crash-reporting and diagnostics providers such as Firebase Crashlytics and communications providers such as Twilio and Zoom Phone
- professional advisors and legal or regulatory authorities where required
- affiliates or transaction counterparties in connection with financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
- integration partners or device-related services when enabled by the customer or required for functionality
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless expressly disclosed elsewhere.
7. Connected Devices, Readings, GPS, and Customer Responsibility
When customers use IronTrac with Bluetooth-enabled or other connected hardware, we may receive or process information transmitted through those devices as part of the Services, including connectivity data, readings, measurements, and related operational records.
When customers use GPS or location-enabled workflows, we may also receive, process, and store location information independently of any Bluetooth device connection.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that connected devices are authorized for use, properly configured, and used in accordance with applicable law, internal policies, and manufacturer instructions.
IronTrac does not control the privacy or security practices of third-party device manufacturers, operating systems, app marketplaces, mobile carriers, GPS/location providers, or other third-party platforms.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal and contractual obligations, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the security and integrity of the Services.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of certain processing activities where applicable.
You may also manage certain permissions directly through your device settings, including Bluetooth, nearby devices, camera, notifications, and location permissions.
